Fishers Real Estate

Fishers is located in Hamilton County, about 20 miles north of Indianapolis at the intersection of I69 and 116th street.  It has experienced a 600% growth over the last few years and it is no wonder with it's excellent school system (Ranked 10 on Great Schools Website) and excellent access to major shopping and interstates.  Yet, it has maintained the sense of community with local restaurants such as the Nickle Plate along with the Town Center that hosts Farmer's Markets all through the summer.  Fishers was named one of the Top 25 Places to Live according to Money Magazine in 2005 and was on the Top 10 List for America's Best Small Cities and Forbes (2008) recently named Fishers as the best place to raise a family. Population is currently right around 66,000; and has two High Schools.   Fishers has a wide variety of Real Estate from starters homes of $100,000 to multi-million dollar homes on Geist Reservoir.

Carmel is located in Hamilton County, and is just north of Indianapolis on US 31 or Meridian about 15 miles.  Carmel is a community of about 66,000 and has moderate to luxury homes available.  It is home to the $15,000,000 Hilbert Mansion.  If you'd like to know more about the neighborhoods and specifically the resale values, check out 2006/2008 Appreciation Rates in Carmel.  Some of the more popular features of Carmel include its award winning school system, great shopping and entertainment, an arts district and the Monon Trail which is a little over 5 miles and begins at 146th street in Carmel and connects to the trail in Indianapolis and goes all the way downtown to the cultural districts.  It is an old rail line that is paved for walkers, runners, bikers, etc.
